For those of you that do not know Jerry, he has been with the Happy Hookers Bass Club for a long, long time. Jerry has been with the club for over 17 years and has been a mentor to a lot of anglers. Besides the club, Jerry is also a big influence with high school fishing. You may have recognized him at Bedford Sales during the Open House event, he organizes the food & drink portion of the event, with the club. Jerry is a fun angler to fish with or just hang out with. If you have any questions on fishing, Jerry will help out the best he can. He is very competitive and will always give you his best. Look for him on fishing results. If you see him, say hi and get to know him and most of all thank him, he is a veteran and has made this country free so you are able to fish these events. Club Tournament #3 Cal Sag/Lake Calumet
The Happy Hookers Bass Club will be at the Cal Sag/Lake Calumet waters on June 11th. Lets see who can bag the most scales! Make sure to be at the June 6th club meeting at 7 pm. We will be talking about this event and up coming events. Lets see a strong showing at this event, we will be fishing with the A.B.A. Northern, IL Division 39.

Nick Koehne is on a roll this year.
We held our 3rd club tournament of the year Sunday 6/11 on the Cal Sag. Weather was HOT and windy but it didn't slow these Hookers down. Everyone brought a fish to scale. Congrats to Nick Koehne for taking 1st place, Kris Gaertner, 2nd, and Garrett Guthrie who came in 3rd. And the Hookers swept the BIG R prize raffle!

Bag the Bucket Mouths
The Braidwood Big Bass Bananza Open Buddy Tournament is in the books. The weather held off to get the event on it's way and 57 boats where off and running. At 3 pm the boats were all in and there was some real tough fishing. But the top 6 would soon be announced. But before we announced the winners, it was time to draw for the winners of the 3 "Big R" buckets filled with tackle. Congrats to the winners of the buckets and thanks to Big R for the tackle buckets and "Big Bass " award with a $25 gift card, also pizza and pop during weigh-in. A big thanks to all the Anglers that entered and to all our sponsors.
